ESG Impact Statement
- BarsOS is an environmental engagement platform that tracks music streams and converts them into internal 'Seed' impact units.
- Seeds represent participation and engagement in our environmental mission. They are NOT carbon credits, carbon offsets, or any form of tradeable environmental asset.
- Our platform aims to raise awareness about environmental issues and provide transparent documentation of verified environmental actions.
- All environmental claims made on this platform are based on internal tracking systems and verified photo documentation.
Environmental Claims Disclosure
- Seeds are INTERNAL impact units only. They have no monetary value and cannot be traded, sold, or exchanged.
- We do NOT issue, sell, or trade carbon credits or carbon offsets of any kind.
- No claims of carbon neutrality or carbon offsetting are made by this platform or any of its participants.
- Stream-to-seed conversion is a symbolic representation of engagement, not a certified environmental measurement.
- Estimated COâ‚‚ impact factors, when displayed, are clearly labeled as UNVERIFIED ESTIMATES and should not be used for regulatory or compliance purposes.
Carbon Credit Clarification
- This platform operates INDEPENDENTLY from any carbon credit registry or verification body.
- No activities on this platform generate verified carbon credits under any recognized standard (VCS, Gold Standard, ACR, etc.).
- Participants should NOT interpret their engagement or seed counts as offsetting their personal or corporate carbon footprint.
- Any third-party claims using BarsOS data for carbon offset purposes are NOT authorized or endorsed by this platform.
Data Integrity & Verification Policy
- Stream counts are entered manually by authorized administrators. No automated data scraping or collection from third-party platforms occurs.
- All stream data entries include source references and optional screenshot proof for audit purposes.
- An immutable audit log tracks all data modifications, including who made changes and when.
- Verified Impact Proofs require photo documentation, GPS coordinates, and administrator verification before public display.
- We maintain strict separation between 'Symbolic Pins' (artist participation) and 'Verified Pins' (documented actions) on our Impact Map.
